
The Museum of Turkish Calligraphic Art in Beyazıt Square is attached to General Directorate for Foundations and is within the Beyazıt Madrasa that belongs to Beyazıt Complex. There are 14 exhibition sections in the museum including Qur’ans written in of muhakkak, nesih, and küfi scripts. There are also handwritten manuscripts written in Indian and Moraccan scripts, as well as sheets, sultans’ signatures, symertic manuscripts, madrasa diplomas, hilye-i sherifs [the attributes of the Prophet Muhammed(s.a.w.s)], and miniatures.
